Mr. Lee Konitz is passed away but I may still hear his sound, he is still hear strongly as every “giant” of music, of art.
Lee is a continuous inspiration for me, even at 90 years old he was still on tour to play the game, to figure out what are the best notes or silences to play.
These are some of my thoughts that I feel when I think to Mr Konitz. Sadly we have never met in the real life but I met him through the music, thanks to the music
"Subconscious Lee" is on of my favorite piece written by Konitz over the harmony of the jazz standard "What is this thing called love".
